|An accordions Defense.
Everything that happens on the Tellus speed a purpose. Nothing happens by chance.
Plus and minus, good and evil, Gin and Jang combine to create what we call development.
All genres are included in this, so even the accordion.
In Sweden, the Swedish domestic accordion music is raped by the Russian accordion repertoire.
Instead of developing our own Swedish music, we take by lack of wisdom
the Russian music and repertoire with deep bass.
On an academic level it sounds better with Russian music.
In the Swedish home the folk music is still strong with Swedish accordion music.
Outside most of the Swedish liquor are poor Russians and Rapes gameplay his accordion with begging hands and eyes. More and more Russians with the title of professor come to the North. Accordion teachers have a Russian model which stops up the indigenous folk music. Who will win in this cultural exchange?
Have the communism failed politically, to get a foot hold in the ordinary honest people who play the accordion?
Is it lack of wisdom or shortcut to success?
It is difficult to learn to play the accordion, several systems available which complicates the picture of an instrument.
Today we take advantage of the technological developments that are trying to give the accordion a new identity. Via computers and midi system distorted the instrument to the one-man orchestra with many instruments sounded by a key pressure. Calling this accordion is misleading and false advertising.
The heart of the accordion is the metal parts that vibrate with the emotional frequencies. There we can choose between tremolo and straight tune atmosphere. The tone is strong and attracts attention.
We can influence the power of the tune expressed through the bellows and the sensitivity via fingertip. Any changes to the instrument from the origin of innovation are industrial forces that want to increase sales of our ignorance.
All other classic instrument will never change because the practitioners are wise and proud. They changes to the repertoire to adapt the time-to-instrument.
We all that still play and enjoy the authentic accordion music should be proud that we can in trust administer the gift that we inherited from our kinsfolk.
Stand up for the authenticity of the accordion, say no to any move and let the future children to enjoy an authentic-sounding accordion.
My heart is a true reed-block.
With love for the accordion.

If there?s an interest of collecting new CD releases of Maestro Frosinis? all compositions (or more unknown compositions) you can write to Lars Ek. To gradually release new CD records requires that the members are willing to buy one or more productions. I have myself been a member of The Strauss society both in Britain and in Sweden and have experienced an increasing interest in Strauss and his music among members when we were able to buy all of his items on CD. This is still just an idea coming from me and it all depends on how many members there are that are interested in this kind of project.

|Hello, I have just joined your society today and I must say that I am very impressed with your site and its contents. I had been specifically looking for Toralf Tollefson and his music but have already extended my wish list to music by Frosini & Lars Ek. The "Play Like Frosini" videos are absolutely fantastic, I especialy liked "Fragrant Flowers", nice bellows-shake. Maybe the link should be called "Play Like Lars Ek !" I am just ordering plenty of CD?s from Norilds Musikk as this type of music is very difficult to find in the UK. And, I may well have found the one pice of music that I have been searching for for over 10 years, "Hungarian Rhapsody No.2" by Toralf Tollefson. Thanks again and keep up the excellent work. |Hello Frosini Society Friends,
I am writing this note in the hope that someone may be able to help me. Myy Name is Franco Cambareri from Melbourne Australia. I am trying to find and contact an old friend of mine by the name of Damrong Chatalada from Thailand. He is also an accordionist. He lived in Melbourne Australia in the 1960?s and was part of my accordion quartet performing on the ABC radio Station on a regular basis.
I have seen an article on Accordions Worldwide website and came across his name under the History of the Accordion in Thailand. I tried to contact him from the website but no one was able to help me.
I have been trying to contact him for several years now. If anyone out there knows anything about him or how I can contact him, please contact me at this address - email@example.com
Thank you and best wishes to all Frosini Society Accordion members.
|Hi, a member of the Frosinisociety is looking after sheet_De-Falla?s Ritual Fire Dance, for solo Accordion. Can you assist.

It is great to hear about such a young and dedicated accordionist like yourself joining the Petro Frosini Society.
I personally would like to thank you very much for your contribution towards the Frosini Society and most of all sharing the live concert recording of P. Frosini from 11th May 1941 with all of us.
|2006-03-04||The Frosinisite expand|
|To all the Frosini society members and accordion lovers of the world;
My name is Emilio Magnotta, and I live in New York state in the USA. I am a young accordionist and a lover of the accordion. My love for the accordion started when I was only four years old. I started taking private accordion lessons at the age of five with one of the great accordions teachers in America, Cliff Scholl. Mr. Scholl also studied many years with Frosini and became very close to him until his death in 1951. I continued lessons with Mr. Scholl for sixteen years. A year or two after I my lessons ended, I very sadly lost my friend and teacher Mr. Scholl at the age of 88. My studies with Mr. Scholl included music from all great accordionists of the past: ( Frosini, Magnante, Deiro, etc.) Also I learned about the accordion history of the 1930?s, 40?s, and 50?s. When Mr. Scholl passed away, his dear wife,
(Mrs. Scholl), kindly gave me some gifts to remember Mr. Scholl by.
They included things such as photos, sheet music, and the best, records!
These home made records were recorded by Mr. Scholl in 1941, and included many concerts that were held in New York City. These recordings are one of a kind. The concerts were performed by Charles Magnante, Pietro Deiro Sr., Mindie Cere, Charles Nunzio, Galla-Rini, John Gart, and best of all, Pietro Frosini. My love came for Frosini from my accordion teacher.
Not to long ago I looked on the internet and said ?a Frosini web site!? WOW! After looking on the site, I had the great pleasure of talking and becoming great friends with Lars Ek, the creator of the Frosini society. I was asked by Mr. Ek to take part of the site in the English language. I am at the young and vigorous age of 27 and have a lot of knowledge about the history of the accordion and also about Frosini. I can and will help the future of the Frosini society and accordion players around the world with things that they want to know. My goal is to be the future of the Frosini society here in New York and promote the future accordionist of the new generation. I feel I am a new and young Pietro Frosini.
Thank you to all you Frosini and accordion lovers and I hope to be a great help in the future. And a special thanks to Mr. Lars Ek.
My name is Franco Cambareri from Australia, if you still want information regarding Peppino Principe, please contact me on this email address. firstname.lastname@example.org I will give you all the information you need to contact Peppino.
|2006-02-01||Happy New Year to Frosini Society|
|In United States it is difficult to get sheet music arrangements or even records and CDs for great Italian accordionists such as Gervasio Marcosignori and Peppino Principe (for example, arrangement by Principe of Carnival of Venice, etc.). Do you know of any websites where I could purchase their arrangements or recordings ? I would be very grateful for any suggestions.
